Meet The Team
Hawley Square Studios is run by a small female lead team consisting of sisters Phoebe and Hattie Hollins, who set the studios up back in 2019; Katie, who manages the day to day and the admin and our newest addition Albane, who looks after our comms and marketing.
Phoebe Hollins
Phoebe was instrumental in setting the studio in 2019 and although won't often be seen in the building, shes very much working behind the scenes keeping the studio open and growing. Phoebe has a degree in photography, currently studying an MA in AI in Creative Practice and runs a successful retouch business; The Observatory alongside the studio.
Kate Chapman
Studio Admin
Katie is our Studio Admin, she joined us a few years ago and looks after a broad remit in and around the building. if you're in the studio, or have enquired about a renting a space, you have likely had the pleasure of chatting to her; she manages a lot of the the day to day including organising our extended team below. Katie is local to Margate and has been a crucial member of the team since her joining.
Hattie Hollins
You'll see Hattie around the studio day to day, she keeps the building running and is key in implementing project plans and initiatives in the studio. Hatties had over decade of commercial experience running her own business and most recently working for Creative Land Trust; a charity created to to ensure affordable studio spaces for artists are secured in perpetuity across London.
Albane Leclerc
Comms - Hessia Studio
Alabane looks after our online presence and comms, letting everyone know about all our projects and plans. Albane is one half of Hessia Studio, run by duo Geraldine and Albane - the creative yin and yang of Hessia. Hessia builds visual worlds, shapes brand identities and craft content that actually connects. From strategy to story telling, we make ideas feel!
